Hi, I’m Emma. Florist at Linden Grove Floral.

After spending two years living in London, I came home with a fresh perspective and a pull toward something more creative. The mix of busy city life and quiet garden spaces over there made me realise I wanted to do something hands-on and meaningful.

I didn’t immediately enter floristry. I worked for years as a pharmacy technician and medical administrator, but I often felt overworked and uninspired. I knew I needed a change, something that made better use of the creative side of me I’ve always had.

I grew up on a farm, where I was surrounded by gardening, flowers, and handicrafts. Thanks to my mum and both of my grandmothers. That influence passed on to me. I run Linden Grove Floral from my home studio in Ōtautahi, Christchurch, creating floral work for weddings and events.

I love working seasonally, using locally grown flowers as much as possible, and sometimes special bits from my own garden. My approach is simple: create thoughtful, well-made arrangements that feel like they belong to the space and the people they’re for.
